The book is: quotes for children

Photo: UGC The book is a timeless and cutting-edge gadget for pumping up the brain. This is how you can determine the value of a book for a modern child who has been dealing with digital technologies from the first days of life. Despite their rapid development, the book will never lose its value, since it is the only stimulator of fantasy and imagination, a source of knowledge and beautiful emotions.

Books have ceased to occupy a dominant place among sources of information about the world and man, but have not lost their relevance. The World Wide Web, in which the consciousness of a modern child is happily entangled, does not have the cognitive potential, emotional and spiritual influence that a book has.

Give your child the joy of reading books from an early age. Let yourself enjoy the picturesque pictures and silky pages, the beautiful words and images that words create.

It turns out that there is so much life wisdom in good old fairy tales! Perhaps, reading one of them to your child, you will also find a hidden meaning... We are used to thinking that fairy tales are just meant to amuse children... However, many of them contain both the deepest philosophical meaning and subtle humor, understandable only to adults . Our selection of quotes today is intended to remind you of this - and perhaps encourage you to re-read some “children’s” works.

“The Wizard of the Emerald City” by Alexander Volkov

“And I,” said the Scarecrow stubbornly, “still prefer brains: when there are no brains, the heart is useless.” - Well, I need a heart! - objected the Tin Woodman. – Brains do not make a person happy, and happiness is the best thing on earth.

“Hedgehog in the Fog” by Sergei Kozlov

– How good it is that we have each other! The little bear nodded. “Just imagine: I’m not there, you’re sitting alone and there’s no one to talk to.” - So, where are you? - But I’m just not there. “It doesn’t happen like that,” said Little Bear. “I think so too,” said the Hedgehog. “But suddenly, I’m not there at all.” You are alone. So what are you going to do? - I'll go to you. - What a fool! Am I not here? “Then you sit on the river and look at the month.” - No, I’m not on the river either. “Then you went somewhere and haven’t returned yet.” I'll run, search the whole forest and find you! “No,” said the Hedgehog. - I'm not there one bit. Understand? - Why are you pestering me? - Little Bear got angry. - If you are not there, then I am not there either. Understood?

"Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll

You know, one of the biggest losses in battle is losing your head.

“Like a little fox to a little fox” by Natalia Sizonenko

“Little fox,” said the little fox to the little fox, “please remember that if you feel hard, bad, sad, scared, if you are tired, just extend your paw.” And I will extend mine to you, wherever you are, even if there are other stars or everyone is walking on their heads. Because the sadness of one little fox divided into two cubs is not scary at all. And when another paw holds you by the paw, what difference does it make what else is there in the world?

"Mary Poppins" by Pamela Travers

And the Queen was happy for a very good reason - because the King was happy

"The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

You are forever responsible for everyone you have tamed. *** Only the heart is vigilant. You can't see the most important thing with your eyes. *** Words only interfere with understanding each other. *** You live in your actions, not in your body. You are your actions, and there is no other you.

"Carlson Who Lives on the Roof" by Astrid Lindgren

- Well, no, I don’t eat that - what is it: one pie and eight candles. Better this way - eight pies... and one candle, eh? - Believe me, Carlson, happiness is not in pies...

"All About the Moomins" by Tove Jansson

Punishment is not the only way to get someone to behave. *** If someone doesn’t know what “retirement” is, then you can explain what it means: to do in peace and quiet only what you want, but only to do this you need to become old enough.

"Winnie the Pooh and Everything" by Alan Milne

What's the point of such amazing things as floods and floods if you don't even have anyone to talk about them with?

"Pippi Longstocking" by Astrid Lindgren

“No big deal,” exclaimed Pippi, “when the heart is hot and beating strongly, it is impossible to freeze.” *** “It’s not our birthday today,” the children said. Pippi looked at them in surprise and said: “But today is my birthday.” Can't I give myself the pleasure of giving you gifts? Maybe your textbooks say that this is prohibited? Maybe, according to this very table of respect, it turns out that this cannot be done?..

"The Wizard of Oz" by Frank Baum

- How can you talk if you have no brains? asked Dorothy. - I don't know. But many of those who have no brains love to talk,” replied the Scarecrow.

There is so much life wisdom in these words! After all, fairy tales teach not only children, but also adults.

Quotes for schoolchildren with meaning (100 quotes)

The most wonderful, happiest times are at school. After all, it is at school that we begin to grow up and understand important things. For the rest of our lives we will remember the most wonderful day when our parents brought us to first grade. After all, school is like our second family. All classmates and teachers are one whole. It is very important and great when the class is friendly. At school we learn all the difficulties and learn to overcome them. At school we also learn joy. Quotes for schoolchildren with meaning are presented in this section. Russian literature is a real storehouse of popular expressions. In Griboyedov’s work “Woe from Wit,” where the title itself is an aphorism, succinct quotes set the tone for the entire narrative. In Dead Souls, Gogol gives short and vivid characterizations of typical Russian characters that are still encountered today. Not only philologists, but also many modern educated people can boast of knowledge of phraseological units from “The Master and Margarita”. And Pushkin’s “Eugene Onegin” has been quoted for almost 200 years: immediately after its publication, the novel scattered into many catchphrases that are still relevant in our time. We invite you to recall vivid quotes from the works of Russian classics.
