- Description of the sky
The sky... what could be more beautiful in the world?
I believe that it attracts with its beauty, its varied colors. The sky is similar to human mood; it can be gray, gloomy, or maybe light and clear. The sky is beautiful absolutely at any time of the year, no matter what the weather. Even during a thunderstorm you can see beauty. How clouds gather together and show all the power of the sky in the form of thunderstorms and downpours. And in sunny weather, you can lie down on the grass alone or with friends, cast your gaze towards the sky and enjoy. You can watch how the clouds, like soft white cotton wool, slowly float by, now covering and now revealing the sun. Sometimes we really want them to come down to us, to lie on them, as if on a soft blanket. You can watch the sky forever and it will never be the same. Day by day, minute by minute, the sky changes. And when the “picture” in the sky changes, then everything on earth changes.
If you noticed, our mood for the day also depends on the sky. When the sun is shining, we are full of energy, we want to do a lot of useful things, enjoy every little thing that happens to us and what we see and simply enjoy life. And vice versa, in case of bad weather, during storms and thunderstorms, we want to sit in the house, just lie down, we have less energy to do any work and even a smile appears less often, but as soon as the sun rises, we can see on our face again wonderful emotions. But this is only on one side...
...And imagine summer rain, when the sky gives us the opportunity to cool down from the intense heat. How wonderful it is to walk in the rain in the summer, run and not think about anything, just enjoy and breathe easily this beautiful fresh air.
And how incredibly beautiful the starry sky can be. When you go outside at night or look out the window, you just want to look at the sky. The stars, like small candles, illuminate the earth. It is the stars at night that create this extraordinary, magical, magical atmosphere. It's great to look at the stars and look for constellations. It seems that the world is about to turn into some kind of wonderful fairy tale, in which peace and goodness will reign.
In general, the sky is beautiful in any case! Enjoy what surrounds us.
The sky we see on our planet
Returning to the analysis of the connection between the Sun and the Earth's sky, it must be said that blue and red are not the only parts of the color spectrum into which sunlight is divided. This spectrum includes all the colors of the rainbow. However, as they pass through the atmosphere and collide with various particles in the air, the rays of the spectrum change their direction. At the same time, the sun's rays themselves have a white color, which is what the sky would be colored in if all parts of the spectrum reached the Earth. However, various processes allow only blue and blue waves to travel the entire path.
Particles that are in the air and prevent light waves from reaching the Earth's surface are various gases, as well as droplets of water and ice. Gas molecules absorb photons from sunlight and produce their own, secondary photons. The color scheme of these new photons can be absolutely any. In addition, the length of their waves and the direction of movement are different. Science has proven that blue secondary photons occur eight times more often than red photons. Thus, the blue color of the sky is largely due to the influence of atmospheric gases.

This is indeed true - in our lives we constantly have to make choices. Even if many try to avoid it - to shift it onto others. And yet we do it all the time! Just in the little things - Essay-description based on the painting Park in Pavlovsk Shishkina 7th grade

The painting “Boyarynya Morozova” was first presented by Surikov at the fifteenth traveling exhibition in 1887. We can rightfully consider this canvas one of the best works of Vasily Surikov.
Seasons
Like the weather, it has its own characteristics at different times of the year. The story about the sky in summer and spring will be bright and sunny, just like these seasons. When the sky is high and piercing, blue or soft blue, the sun shines brightly in the sky, giving all life on earth its warmth. It feels joyful and warm all around. Birds sing, gardens bloom, fields and meadows turn green. Above all this splendor stretches a calm and gracious sky. Only occasionally at this time is it covered with clouds, and if this happens, it is only in May, when spring showers with thunderstorms generously water the earth. The sky gives her plenty to drink, in response to this, the grateful earth gives a harvest, gardens begin to bloom and forests come to life. After spring and summer showers, you can often see a rainbow in the sky. Such a beautiful sight! Make a wish! It will definitely come true.
The story about the autumn sky will be completely different. The sky is no longer what it was before. Low and gloomy, gray and inhospitable, maybe even a little tired after the sweltering summer heat. You can often see a wedge of birds flying to warmer climes in the sky. It rains more often, the sky is covered with clouds that are not at all like fluffy, snow-white clouds in summer. Now these are gray and heavy clouds that are ready to sadly “cry” for many hours.
The story about the sky in winter will be short and faceless, just like it itself at this time of year. We can say that it is “sleeping”, waiting for awakening, which will come soon, in the spring. The sky seems to be in a “bad mood.”
Physico-astronomical theory of the sky
Despite the greater number of stars in space, the Sun is the only celestial body close enough and bright enough to influence the color of the sky above Earth.
It is important to know the fact that the Sun is about 4.5 billion years old. After about the same time, it will turn into an extinct star called a “white dwarf”. By this moment, all the planets of the solar system will have cooled down and will already be revolving around the extinct star.
At this point in time, hydrogen is being converted into helium in the core of the Sun. When the hydrogen, which now makes up 73% of the mass of this star, completely burns out, a gradual increase in the radius of the Sun will begin. Stars at this stage are called “red giant” and are a fireball of gigantic size.
The Sun will continue to expand until approximately the orbit of Venus, after which it will go through several states after which nuclear reactions will cease completely. The passage of these stages will lead the Sun to the “white dwarf” state. This star will have about 100 times less radius and 100-1000 times less capacity than the Sun has today.
All these calculations are based on scientific research. To do this, astronomers analyzed the mass of the Sun and the rate of nuclear reactions. As a result, it was determined how long there would be enough hydrogen inside the Sun for the full functioning of this star.
Distance of planets from the Sun
As noted, the planets of the solar system will also cool down. Mercury and Venus will be absorbed at the red giant stage, and the hot atmosphere of the Sun will absorb the Earth. At the same time, conditions suitable for life may well appear on Mars, since this expansion will not reach it. Thus, until the moment the Sun completely goes out, the remnants of surviving planets such as Mars, Jupiter and Saturn will revolve around it.
Dutch skyscapes of the 17th century
The sky does not appear in paintings right away. In the Middle Ages, landscape practically disappeared as a genre, and the masters of Antiquity and the Renaissance preferred to paint views of cities, rivers or the sea. The sky is sometimes used as a conventional space for a religious plot. But in the Age of Enlightenment, people begin to pay more attention to the real world around them. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the genre of landscape flourished more than ever before, and with it the gaze of artists turned to the heavens.
The sky in paintings from the Dutch Golden Age often takes up two-thirds of the canvas and is painted with mastery. Looking at the Dutch landscape, it is easy to determine the time of day, season and weather. There are quite a lot of masters who beautifully depicted the heavens. Among the best are Aert van der Neer, Salomon van Ruysdael and his nephew Jacob van Ruisdael.
In 1680, artists had a special reason to pay attention to celestial space. At this time, a bright comet was flying by, visible to the naked eye even during the day. What she looked like at night is depicted in the work of Lieve Verschuier.
