We were inspired to write this article by Anna Kiryanova, a very wise woman with her own view of life and the people around her. So, the harsh character of a person: what you need to know, how to live with it and what to do if they try to throw you off balance.

Which behavior scenario would be preferable: agreement in everything with a harsh person or, conversely, active resistance and unwillingness to succumb to provocation. Let's try to figure it out together.
Harsh remarks by Vladimir Putin
On October 18, at the Valdai Forum in Sochi, President Vladimir Putin said that in the event of a nuclear attack, “we, like martyrs, will go to heaven,” and the aggressors “will simply die.” Other harsh statements by the head of state are in the Kommersant collection.
“Russian planes are and will carry out strikes in Chechnya exclusively on terrorist bases, and this will continue, no matter where the terrorists are. We will pursue terrorists everywhere.
At the airport - at the airport.
So, excuse me, we’ll catch them in the toilet, we’ll soak them in the toilet,
in the end. That’s it, the issue is finally closed.”
(September 24, 1999 at a press conference in Astana).
“If you really want to become an Islamic radical and are ready to even circumcise yourself, then I invite you to Moscow. We have a multi-religious country, we have specialists on this issue. I will recommend that they do this operation in such a way that nothing else will grow on you.”
(November 12, 2002 at a press conference in Brussels in response to a question from a journalist from Le Monde about the use of anti-personnel mines in Chechnya).
“We need so many weapons and such armed forces that they are enough to ensure our security, and no more. If we pursue a peaceful policy, if we don’t poke our nose into other people’s affairs, then that’s enough for us, but we must create such armed forces as to prevent someone else from wanting to poke their snotty nose into us.”
(November 26, 2007 during a visit to St. Petersburg).
“What are you doing? Do you want me to eat soil from a pot of flowers so that you will believe me,
or swore on blood?
(February 14, 2008 in response to a question about denomination at a press conference in the Kremlin).
«We have in our hands rather a large club, which is called a club, with one blow of which everything can be solved.
But we have never used it yet, we just picked it up, and it has already caused a certain resonance. But if they make you angry, you’ll have to use it.”
(October 26, 2010 in an interview with the Figaro newspaper, about the relationship between the authorities and the oligarchs).
“And in Soviet times, in Stalin’s times - this is no secret - there were special units that carried out, among other things (these are combat units, they did not only do this), if necessary, they also carried out such tasks: the liquidation of traitors. Such units themselves were liquidated long ago... And as for the traitors, they will die on their own, I assure you.”
(December 10, 2010 during the program “Conversation with Vladimir Putin. Continued”)
«We will not allow anyone to interfere in our internal affairs,
We will not allow anyone to impose their will on us, because you and I have our own will.
She always helped us win at all times. You and I are a victorious people. It's in our genes, in our gene code.
This is passed down from generation to generation."
(February 23, 2012 at a pre-election rally in Luzhniki).
“They’ve been trying this (provocation) for ten years now— Kommersant.”
) apply, first of all, to those who are sitting abroad.
I'm telling you this exactly. I know this. They are even looking for a so-called sacred victim from among some notable people. They will “crash” themselves, excuse me, and then they will blame the authorities”
(February 29, 2012, at a speech to members of the ONF about provocations at rallies).
“We will consider any use of nuclear weapons against Russia or its allies - small, medium, or whatever - as a nuclear attack on our country. The answer will be immediate and with all the ensuing consequences.”
(March 1, 2021 in the message to the Federal Assembly).
“I see that some of your colleagues are pushing the theory that Mr. Skripal (ex-GRU colonel - Kommersant)
) almost some kind of human rights activist.
He's just a spy. Traitor to the Motherland .
There is such a concept - a traitor to the motherland. Here he is - one of them. Imagine: suddenly you have a person who betrays his country.
How will you feel about him? Any representative of any country sitting here? He's just a scumbag - that's all...
Espionage, like prostitution, is one of the most important professions in the world. So what?"
(October 3 at the plenary session of the “Russian Energy Week”).
Harsh character
Story
Let's look at a small but interesting story, a fairy tale. Once upon a time there lived a shepherd Tereshechka in a small village. He had one very amusing hobby: he collected goat droppings in the field and gave it to everyone he saw. Locals quietly considered him not entirely healthy, and visitors even gave him gingerbread cookies and sweets.

Of course, no one took his “gifts,” but they didn’t do anything bad to Tereshechka either. Until one day the shepherd met a boy. The boy refused the offered manure and even shouted at the donor, saying, “Eat your own treats!”
© Depositphotos
So what happened then? The kind and awkward-looking shepherd got angry, picked up a stick from the ground and chased the boy. There was a very sharp and even striking change in the appearance of the local fool.
What happened
Everything is very simple. The donor was simply revealed. His inner motives were drawn out and he himself was made to understand that they saw his lies and hidden thoughts. At that very second, it became unnecessary to hide his insides, and the shepherd showed himself to the fullest. For him, the boy ceased to be just a boy, but became a bad and unpleasant opponent.

Parallels in real life
There are many similar examples of such Tereshechkas in our society. Some people portray kind and very nice people, although in reality they say and do nasty things behind their backs. Others show their “not very kind inner world” from the very beginning and simply offer to come to terms with it, but in fact expect a good attitude towards themselves.
What actually unites these people is their complex, harsh or, as they say now, “toxic” character . The reasons for its occurrence can be very different: from genetic predisposition to upbringing and environmental influences.

Each specific case is interesting in its own way. But now we would like to consider this behavior in its entirety, without going into details. So, what “toxic treats” do we often get in real life?
“Oh, honey, you haven’t been looking good lately. You should take care of yourself." “I saw it on social media. network photos of your dishes. Mom dear, are you also taking pictures of this? Don't make people laugh." “Hmm, well, they gave you a bouquet on March 8th. The flowers are sparse, but wilted. You can do ikebana.”
© Depositphotos
What should be done with such people? Answer them with the same coin and simply click on the nose. Figuratively speaking, of course. There is no need to go to higher tones. Just make it clear to the person once and for all that you understand perfectly well what kind of game he is playing and stupid barbs directed at you will not go unnoticed.
Positive people are immediately visible. Their words and wishes really warm your soul and you always want to share your warmth with them. So why not waste your time and emotions on such people? After all, it will be an equal exchange that will only bring you benefit. And let negative people accumulate negative emotions within themselves. You shouldn't care about them.

Our opinion
Editorial “So Simple!” in a sense, she shares Anna Kiryanova’s thoughts about people with a “toxic” character. You should never let yourself be offended. In addition, some people, like energy vampires, simply take advantage of the kindness of their acquaintances and suck all the juice out of them, while pretending to be white and fluffy.
However, situations in life are very different. What to do, for example, if one of your relatives ? Not only is there negativity in the relationship, but you will also be doing your bit and adding fuel to the fire. And in the end you will find yourself the initiator of the conflict in the eyes of other people.

Or, if you have known a person for a long time, you can trace changes in his character. Now, a few years ago she was a wonderful person , kind and charming. But something happened in her life that caused her inner world to break. Isn't it better, with the help of affection and kindness, to return it to its previous level and change a person for the better? Or won't it work anymore?

In short, in our opinion, this issue requires a more thorough approach and investigation. As is often the case, there are pros and cons. We hope, dear reader, that you will figure it out if a similar situation arises and that you will under no circumstances tolerate such “treats,” even from those closest to you.
Short, tall, fat, ugly. Donald Trump's harshest remarks
American Adrian Ramirez compiled a selection of the 10 most terrible insults of Donald Trump. The new US president can be unapologetically harsh, but judging by the applause in the hall after his speeches, many support his statements. Everyone got it from Trump: Latinos, Muslims, people with disabilities, women, in particular Rosie O'Donell, and especially journalists.
"Mexicans bring problems to people"
“They bring a lot of problems to people,” Trump said during a news conference in Iowa.
He clarified that where migrants appear, crime and drug addiction flourish.
"Get lost to your Univision"
After one of the Mexican reporters from the Univision television channel was outraged by a statement about Mexicans and asked Trump a question, he asked him to shut up and sit down.
“Please sit down, you were not given words. Get off to your Univision,” Trump said.
After this, security escorted the reporter, who, by the way, was Mexican, from the hall.
"They have no reason to respect human life"
At one of his campaign speeches, Trump explained his proposal to introduce mandatory registration for all Muslims coming to the United States. Total control is necessary, the politician believes.
“We have no choice. These people believe only in Jihad. They have no reason to respect human life,” he said.
"John McCain is not a hero"
Even Vietnam War veteran Senator John McCain became a target of Donald Trump. According to the then presidential candidate, McCain is unfairly considered a hero. To earn this title, it is not enough to be captured.
“He is not a hero because he was captured. I love those who were not captured," Trump said.
The military plane McCain was piloting was shot down over Hanoi in 1967. The pilot was held captive for five years and was released in 1973 under the terms of the Paris Agreement.
“A typical example of the press twisting words”
A reporter from the Spanish-language television channel Telemundo also got into trouble because of a question about Trump's opinion about Latinos. The journalist recalled that the politician called Mexicans murderers and rapists, but was interrupted.
“No, we are talking about illegal migrants. A typical example of statements being distorted by the press. They take half a phrase, then add a quarter of another phrase and combine them,” Trump responded.
He also stated that he would sue another TV channel, already mentioned Univisual. He also announced the amount of the claim - $500 million.
Conflict with Fox News TV presenter
Fox News host Megan Kelly also clashed with Trump. It all started with a question about his statements about women.
“You've called women fat pigs, dogs, and disgusting animals,” Kelly began, referencing the presidential candidate's Twitter posts.
Trump interrupted her, clarifying that when he used such insults, he meant only Rosie O'Donell (a well-known TV presenter, actress and activist in the United States).
“Kelly asked me the wrong question. I think she should have apologized," Trump said later.
The conflict between the presidential candidate and the Fox News TV presenter continued for several months. As a result, the politician refused to participate in the televised debate moderated by Kelly.
Five thousand dollar debate
Trump also attacked CNN. He offered the TV channel to pay him five million dollars for his participation in the televised debates. This money would go to the Wounded Warrior Foundation, which provides assistance to military personnel. Whether he was joking or not, no one understood then. CNN declined to comment.
Short, tall, fat, ugly
The debates of the Republican presidential candidates did take place. In the second round, Trump attacked Senator Rand Paul.
“I think Rand Paul shouldn’t be here at all, he only got 1% of the vote,” Trump said.
Paul responded that he was surprised by Trump's ratings. How can people choose as their leader a person who does not know how to behave and constantly attacks his opponents because of their appearance.
“Because they are short, tall, fat or ugly,” Paul said.
“I have never criticized Paul for his appearance, but believe me, there is something to complain about,” the future president responded to the claim.

(on stimulating processing in Russia, March 2006)
About a baton that hits once
“I will not say that there are two irreconcilable enemies, on the one hand, the state, and on the other, the oligarchs. I rather think that the state holds a baton in its hands, with which it hits only once. But on the head. We just picked it up, and that was enough to attract attention. When we get really angry, we won't hesitate to use it. You cannot blackmail the state. If necessary, we will destroy the instruments of blackmail."
(to Le Figaro in October 2002)
"Dead Donkey Ears"

About your own portraits on Easter eggs

(at a press conference in June 2002)
About your financial status
“As for various rumors about my financial status, I looked at some papers on this matter. This is just chatter that has nothing to be discussed. Nonsense. They picked everyone out of their noses and smeared them all over their papers.”
About the opposition
“We need to treat all our citizens with respect. There are, of course, people who have a passport as a citizen of the Russian Federation, but act in the interests of a foreign state and with foreign money. We will also try to establish contact with them. This is often useless and impossible. What can be said in this case? You can say: “Come to me, Banderlogs.”
"Water in the toilet"
“We will pursue terrorists everywhere. At the airport - at the airport. So, excuse me, we’ll catch them in the toilet, we’ll soak them in the toilet, in the end. That’s it, the issue is finally closed.”
