Any unpleasant event is unexpected, even if you were preparing for it.

Feeding an ardent passion for money, But maintaining external decency, We hide that our desire for happiness Always presupposes their presence.

Some become famous because of their intelligence, while others are considered smart because they are famous.

It would be nice for the nimble fellows to remember, Those who are offended by Nature and fate: When war is declared on the palaces, It will reach the huts a little later.

There are differences in every woman: Language, character, appearance, Her own understanding of decency, And there is a devil in each.

It doesn't take much intelligence to laugh at someone else's stupidity.

When people gather into a herd of sheep, Follow the shepherd to the whistling of a whip and a cry, Sweeping away obstacles on the way to the pasture, It will make an excellent kebab.

Women can only keep secrets together.

It’s not that this usually happens, but it still happens sometimes: It’s not the one who dies bravely in a fight, but the one who survives it is a hero.

I am neither an anchorite nor a prude, But I came to a conclusion, tired of the noise: Freedom of speech is only good there, Where people know how to think before speaking.

If man's natural purpose was to increase wealth rather than wisdom, he would presumably have a bank safe instead of a head.

There are many examples that can be given, that when the world reaches a point, then nonentities flock into herds, and sages fight alone.

The inflated fool is worthy of contempt, Who boasts of a luxurious life: Wealth is just a payment for the fear of suddenly losing wealth.

Every time another savior of humanity comes to power, it finds itself on the brink of destruction.

A bad poet writes very much From a misunderstanding: The less intelligence he has, The more inspiration.

Whoever treated people well, and once in power, ruled wisely and honestly, would probably go down in history as the rarest exception to the rule.

Expecting dramatic changes, it is worth realizing clearly and clearly: Life is almost always amazing, but quite rarely - beautiful.

When the years, as if in a fog, Leave us irrevocably, The wife turns into a nanny, Comrade, friend and brother.

With special warmth We strive to honor those whom we reviled during their lifetime, whose lifespan we have made a lot of efforts to significantly shorten.

Nature gives man virtues, and public opinion gives him reputation. The first rarely corresponds to the second.

Money will pave the way to any goal, The scoundrel and the decent give in before it, It is known that there can be a lot of it, But there is never enough of it.

Politics is a theater, the choir is silent in it, The troupe paces the wings, Until the conductor gives the go-ahead, Barely noticeable in the orchestra pit.

Aphorisms are stupid things said by famous people and smart things said by unknown people.

The terror that a fierce despot inflicts is purely selective: The ax is raised over the heads of those who do not bow to the authorities.

The poet often annoys the authorities, And the authorities, showing power and strength, deprive him of the right to vote during life, and after death - the right to the grave.

It doesn’t matter who is in power - a tyrant or a rabble, it is never fair: The one that is better always only robs the people, The one that is worse kills them.

When in a game of minds you are only a pawn, luck will not come to you on its own, and an evil mockery of your opponent is just a sign of poverty of mind.

A great writer spends his own to give life to his characters.

For the most part, a lady already receives pleasure to a certain extent, When in the eyes of a man she notices lust for her modest person.

The authorities invariably show zeal in their attempts at self-preservation.

A tried and tested good tradition has failed few in politics: Always be in opposition to the one who is responsible for affairs.

I consider a reliable observation, which has come down from time immemorial: The population in power idolizes Bandits, crooks, and fools.

The influence of the opposition is growing, More and more sufferers are joining it, After all, it eats and drinks with the authorities, And it growls at it, but does not bite.

We are used to not feeling remorse and, as if, not knowing what we are doing, in attempts to destroy everything to the ground, and, often, even with it.

There are different words: Those, having sounded, seem to sink into the water, They make your head spin, Well, many of them make your ears wither.

People spend far more words hiding their thoughts than expressing them.

Worthy of an unenviable lot, Who performs his duty somehow, But the greatest harm to any business is caused by an inventive fool.

When change dawns a little, But life threatens to turn back, Not just something gradually, But you need to change everything at once.

There is no need to look at animals with contempt, as if they don’t know words, people often get together in a herd, in which many donkeys wander.

It happens that smiling from ear to ear is the cause of all sorts of disasters. And only those who can do it without consequences laugh well.
