Earnings without interruption
Marley was ranked 8th on Forbes' annual list with an annual income of US$14 million. Most of his income comes from music streaming services, which the magazine said have surged this year "after the reggae legend racked up more than a billion streams worldwide." It is worth saying that the profits are shared between the recording studios and the copyright owners.
Forbes also noted that an important source of revenue is various merch with images of the singer and musical equipment from the brand named after him. Speakers, endless T-shirts, lighters, headphones and record players are sold under the artist's name. And in 2021, reusable masks with his quotes and drawings appeared on the singer’s official website. There you can also buy Jamaican coffee branded with his name. This variety of products last year made Marley the fifth-highest-earning deceased celebrity in the world.

Playful smile
It is the playful smile that girls give only to those men who are definitely interested in them as partners. This smile can drive any guy crazy, it makes their legs feel weak and their consciousness becomes slightly foggy. Sometimes this smile can put you in an awkward position if you give it to a stranger.
A woman’s eyes, in which mischievous sparkles or flames of passion dance, play a huge role in a playful smile. A slightly raised eyebrow combined with a playful smile, as if promising something special, can drive almost any man crazy.

“He's not perfect. You too. And both of you will never be like that. But if he makes you laugh at least once, makes you think twice, allows you to be human and make mistakes, hold on to him and give him everything you can. He won't quote poetry, he doesn't think about you every minute, but he gives you that part of himself that you can destroy, and he knows it. Don't hurt him, don't try to change him, and don't expect more from him than he can give. Don't analyze. Smile when he makes you happy, yell at him when he makes you angry, and miss him when he's not around. Love is hard when it's love. There are no perfect guys, but there is always one who is perfect for you."
You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before she may love again. But if she loves you now, what else matters? She's not perfect - you aren't either, and the two of you may never be perfect together but if she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she will give you a part of her that she knows you can break - her heart. So don't hurt her, don't change her, don't analyze and don't expect more than she can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you mad, and miss her when she's not there.

You may not be her first, not her last, and not her only. She loved before she loved again. But if she loves you now, what else is wrong? She's not perfect, but neither are you, and you both will never be perfect together. But if she makes you laugh, then think twice, if she gives you the opportunity to be human, make mistakes, hold on to her and give her everything you can. She may not think about you every second of the day, but she can give you a part of herself because she knows you can break her heart. So don’t hurt her, don’t change her, don’t analyze her and don’t expect from her what is beyond her capabilities. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes you angry, and miss her when she's not around.
Actually any man will cause you pain.
You simply must find that, who costs your sufferings.
In fact, anyone will hurt you.
You just have to find someone who is worth your suffering.

"White Disease"
Marley received terrible news at the peak of her fame: a malignant tumor on her big toe. This type of cancer is believed to be rare in people of color, and many saw the irony that Bob was killed by a “white disease.” It all started when in 1975, while playing football, Bob's right foot was severely crushed by a studded boot. The wound did not heal well, Marley did not take it seriously: he injured it with his shoes and did not stop playing football. In 1977, he injured his finger again and after some time received a diagnosis: melanoma. In response, Marley said that he was being deceived, and his finger was simply swollen, and hurried to leave the clinic. Doctors recommended amputation of the finger, but the musician did not want to go through with it. “Rastas do not accept amputation. I don’t allow a person to be dismantled for parts,” he explained. It is believed that the reason lay not only in this, the musician was very afraid of losing his plasticity: “How will I go on stage? Nobody wants to look at a cripple!”
Melanoma is insidious, until the tumor begins to significantly annoy, metastases manage to spread throughout the body. One day, while jogging in Central Park in New York, Marley had a seizure, he fell to the ground and could not move. The examination showed that the cancer had spread to internal organs, including the brain. Further treatment is useless, the doctors stated, the tour can continue while the musician is still alive. Finally realizing what was happening, Marley tried to save himself, grasping at every opportunity, decided on radiation and chemotherapy, and was treated in the USA and Germany.
“Bob began to lose weight rapidly and it seemed as if he was slowly turning into a different person. On the morning of November 4, 1980, he decided to be baptized. I advised him to be baptized ever since His Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie sent Abba to Jamaica, because I baptized all our children (not just my own) in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. When we called Abba that morning, he cried. We all cried. Bob was baptized and took the name Berhane Selassie, which means “light of the Trinity,” Rita said.
The German doctor Joseph Issels managed to extend the musician’s life by six months compared to the forecast, but it was impossible to achieve more. In the spring of 1981, Marley decided to go to Jamaica to die, but only managed to get to Miami, where he saw his children and went to another world without leaving a will. He was only 36 years old. Rita transported and buried her husband’s body in her homeland, and then a war broke out over money.
Big Five
Jackson was far ahead of other music celebrities. For example, Elvis Presley, who came in 5th place with $23 million, and rapper Juice WRLD, who came in seventh place with $15 million, died on December 8, 2021 due to an overdose.
Joining Jackson and Presley in the top five are: author and animator Theodor Seuss Geisel, popularly known as Dr. Seuss, in second place with US$33 million; Peanuts creator Charles Schultz, who came in third with US$32.5 million, and golf legend Arnold Palmer, who came in fourth with US$25 million.

Rounding out the top ten are two other international superstars, John Lennon, frontman of The Beatles (number 9 with $13 million) and American musician Prince (number 10 with $10 million).
Healthy smile
Every man likes to look at a smiling woman who exudes a sense of self-confidence and whose eyes sparkle with humor. And here are the types of smiles that are most attractive to them.
A woman can smile her most beautiful smile, she can flirt, but if the health of her teeth leaves much to be desired, then all her attempts to please a man will come to nothing. In this case, a smile will not only not help, but will even harm, leaving the man with a completely different impression of the girl than she would like. Nothing repels the stronger sex more than obvious dental defects.
So you should visit your dentist regularly and do not neglect the services of good specialists. The money spent on a healthy smile will be more than repaid not only by the attention of men. The appearance of teeth is a person’s calling card. And their poor condition has a devastating effect not only on appearance, but also on health. After all, bad teeth can cause hypertension, diabetes and even problems with the nervous system. So you should take care to keep your smile beautiful and healthy.

Dream of peace
“...Until the highest and lowest classes of citizens of any nation cease to exist, until the color of human skin plays a different role than the color of the eyes, I say, war will reign. This will remain so until basic human rights become equal for everyone, without division into races, and for now - war...” - the song War was one of the most important songs in Marley’s work. Peace in Jamaica, peace in Africa, love - this is what Bob Marley wanted to sing about, what he wanted to devote his life to. The Jamaica of his youth was a place of constant street fighting, and there were several warring ghettos in Kingston.
“When I see political violence, how young people kill each other to please politicians, it hurts me. None of them did anything for the people,” the musician lamented.
In the mid-1970s, the main conflict in Jamaica was between followers of the ultra-conservative Labor Party and the socialist National People's Party. Street clashes turned into serious clashes, almost a civil war, in which people died every day. Marley's acquaintances included gangsters on both sides of the barricade, and he became involved in politics, for which he paid the price by becoming the victim of an assassination attempt in 1976. They shot at him, but the bullet only passed tangentially past his chest and wounded his arm. The fact is that in two days Bob was supposed to perform at a free concert organized by Prime Minister Michael Manley, leader of the National People's Party. After the concert was loudly announced at a press conference, Manley announced that elections would be held in two weeks. The musicians found themselves embroiled in an unpleasant story and began to seriously fear for their lives, but Marley was not frightened by what was happening - he wanted to call people to peace. On December 5, 1976, he took the stage.
In 1978, Marley organized the One Love Concert festival, which brought together the best musicians in Jamaica. In the middle of the action, he unexpectedly called Manley and the leader of the opposition, Edward Seag, onto the stage. He raised and joined their hands, the people felt unity and rejoiced... Unfortunately, peace never came to Jamaica. Who knows what history would have been like if Bob Marley were alive today?

From Trenchtown girl to Miss World
He was married to only one woman, Rita Marley, whom he met in his youth in Trenchtown, the poor neighborhoods of the Jamaican capital. Rita lived with her aunt and at the time of their acquaintance had just given birth to a child, whose father soon disappeared. Auntie, who dreamed of a better life for Rita, was very angry, although she doted on the baby. From now on, the girl was allowed to communicate with young people through the fence and walk no later than eight in the evening. And no dates! Then Marley appeared, a musician and, even worse, a Rastafarian...
“In Jamaica, in the old days, parents would give anything to keep their children from becoming involved with Rastas,” writes Rita Marley in her book “No woman, no cry. My life with Bob Marley." “They claimed that Rastafarians are lost people, they smoke ganja endlessly, eat whatever they can, don’t wash their hair, don’t brush their teeth—whatever they talked about. But no one mentioned the message of peace and love, non-violence, understanding and justice that they carried. Although in their hearts everyone supported their ideas about restoring the dignity of blacks.”
Rastas were against black people changing their appearance, “black is beautiful,” they said. Women did not straighten their hair, did not use decorative cosmetics and did not wear trousers, skirts below the knees. Bob seemed like a serious young man; he managed to establish a relationship with his aunt and took care of Rita and her daughter Sharon. The lovers studied music, sang in different groups and recorded in studios; their records were in demand in Jamaica, but did not bring much income. This did not stop them from getting married soon, and Rita began giving birth to children one after another, because Rastafarians did not use contraceptives and did not recognize abortion. While Rita coped with the miserable life as best she could - she carried buckets of water, cooked over a fire, washed her husband’s only pair of underwear every night, and worked part-time - Bob devoted all his time to music. From time to time he found part-time jobs, for example, working as a welder and carpet cleaner in a hotel, but such work depressed him.
Marley can hardly be called handsome, but, as they say, he was incredibly charming and at the same time shy, so women hung around his neck. A month after Rita gave birth to her fourth child, son Ziggy, two women in Jamaica also gave birth to sons with Bob. In total, 11 children of the musician from seven women are known. One of his lovers was Miss World 1976 Cindy Breakspear, mother of musician Damian Marley.
“I didn’t want to ‘herd’ him. I tried to think of Bob as more of a loving brother than a real husband, and I came to terms with the situation. I asked the Lord for help in something that I cannot change. Maybe because there were more and more women, I saw in them less and less threats to our relationship,” Rita wrote.
The wife believed that the fame and money that fell on the musician played a cruel joke on him. He forgot about his strict principles and left the righteous path of Rastafarianism. Women replaced one another, but Rita always remained nearby, like a guardian angel, she went with him all the way and was there on the day of his death, May 11, 1981.
